There are cultural programs such as Parents Nite, which help students enhance their skills of organization and presentation, co-ordination and co-operation. On 21st October 2024, Pitts Modern School, Gomia, conducted an enlightening session for the girls of Classes III to V on the theme "Empowering Girls: Essential Life Skills for a Bright Future." The session aimed to equip the students with valuable life skills, focusing on personal hygiene, sensible use of technology, civic sense, menstruation, anger management, and understanding safe and unsafe touch. The session was conducted by Mrs. Priyanka Sinha, who provided valuable insights on how these skills can help young girls navigate challenges and thrive in the future. A special address was delivered to the Class V students by Mrs. Karishma Bista, who motivated them to be confident and proactive in shaping their futures.

The event commenced with a warm welcome to the Principal, teachers, and students of Class X, followed by an insightful introduction highlighting the significance of the Tilak Ceremony—a tradition symbolizing blessings, encouragement, and best wishes for success.

The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Pitts Modern School, Gomia, on January 26, 2025.


The event began with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, Mr. Adarsh Madhup, Senior Manager (Mechanical), DVC, BTPS, Bokaro, and was attended by dignitaries such as Mr. Abhishek Biswas, Senior Manager, ORICA, Gomia, and Mr. Arindam Dasgupta, Vice-Chairman of IEPL. The celebration featured a rendition of the National Anthem, a patriotic dance on Vande Mataram, and speeches highlighting the significance of Republic Day and the Indian Constitution. Students performed a soulful patriotic song, and meritorious students were recognized during the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The Special Guest, Mr. Abhishek Biswas, Senior Manager, Manufacturing Centre, ORICA, Gomia, emphasized the role of education and patriotism, while the Chief Guest, Mr. Adarsh Madhup, Senior Manager (Mechanical), DVC, BTPS, Bokaro, spoke on unity in diversity, echoing Gandhi’s words. Mr. Arindam Dasgupta, Vice-Chairman of IEPL, and the School Principal, Mr. Brij Mohan Lal Das, also delivered inspiring messages on patriotism and selfless service.
